Nikolai, Age 3

I started interviewing the boys last year.  I think I've settled on these questions as the ones I'm going to ask them each year on their birthday.  Nick was a little difficult since he still doesn't seem to "get" everything I ask him, and his speech is still very immature (but considering he spoke barely 30 words 6 months ago, he's doing GREAT!).  His birthday cake this year is Angry Birds, my choice after he spent a lot of time switching back and forth between that or dinosaurs.

What are you going to be when you grow up?

You. (Why?) Because you do to make me sad. (I don't think he gets the question)

Waking up

What do you like to do with Daddy?

Hugging him

What do you like to do with Mommy?

Kiss your baby (I'm pregnant with #4.  He comes up to me lots of times throughout the day to hug and kiss or rub my belly, especially when he's upset or tired.  I think it's becoming his comfort item!)

Black and white

Those books (points to two My First Little House books he was given for his birthday- County Fair and Prairie Day)
